What is Pizza Ipsum

Pizza Ipsum is a lorem ipsum generator for a very delicious Lorem Ipsum. There are various other Ipsum’s out there including two of my favorites: Bacon Ipsum, and Cupcake Ipsum. These are all fun spinoffs of Lorem Ipsum which is dummy text used as mock-up text for publishing, and in more recent history for designing layouts for web sites and blogs.

How Does It Work

First, select the number of paragraphs of Ipsum you want. The default is 5, but like your local pizza shop, we are flexible. Make what you need.

Then select the appropriate option for toppings only, or toppings and filler. The toppings only option will give you text with nothing but pizza toppings in the text, but the toppings and filler option will mix your pizza toppings with some more traditional looking Ipsum text.

Lastly, you have the option of whether or not to start out with the “traditional” intro text or not, before clicking on “Make My Pizza.” After that, just copy and paste the text into your web layout, and repeat.

Why Pizza Ipsum

If you are creating a layout on a web page, and you want to show the layout to someone, Ipsum text lets them see the flow of a page without getting distracted by reading what has been written there. Pizza Ipsum is a fun alternative to Lorem Ipsum, adding random pizza toppings in with the text. If you can have Cup Cakes or Bacon with your Ipsum, why not pizza?
